The window of greatest cold-stress risk at delivery is the interval between birth and contact with a thermally prepared surface, and pre-heat capability addresses this directly rather than relying on post-contact recovery. SUNFLOWER’s ceramic heater pre-warms the mattress before patient arrival; an integrated CPR timer signals 30-second NRP assessment intervals without a separate timing device. Rotary dampers on the baby-guard panels and dual-wheel castors keep operating noise below 48 dB, within developmental-care acoustic standards for open-care environments.
