Thermal Care & Incubation

ATOM Medical INCU-I

Closed incubator with peripheral touch-screen control, active air curtain at port access, and humidity to 95% RH.

Closed incubator thermal stability is most at risk during the access event itself – the moments when nursing care creates the largest environmental perturbation. INCU-I addresses this with an air curtain activated whenever access ports are opened, an active barrier limiting ambient infiltration during clinical contact.
The peripheral touch-screen keeps all parameter adjustments at the outer edge of the unit, removing the need to reach over the infant, and humidity management extends to 95% RH for the ELBW population.

  • Active air curtain during port access — Limits ambient air infiltration during nursing interventions.
  • Humidity up to 95% RH — Supports transepidermal water-loss management in ELBW neonates.
  • Peripheral touch-screen with colour-coded display — Parameter access and adjustment without reaching over the infant.
  • X-ray cassette accessible from either side without opening panels — Imaging without thermal disruption.
  • Modular accessory configuration at installation.
  • Standard control architecture shared with the DUAL INCU-I family.
  • Designed for high-frequency access workflow typical of NICU shifts.

Used in closed-environment NICU care of preterm, ELBW, and other thermally fragile neonates. Enables high-humidity, temperature-stable care with minimised environmental disruption during routine clinical access.
