Conventional overhead phototherapy requires the neonate to be unclothed and supine for extended periods, interrupting skin-to-skin contact, breastfeeding, and parental interaction. The ATOM BILI-THERAPY Pad Type delivers phototherapy through direct pad-to-skin contact beneath the infant, with three selectable irradiance levels: High 53 µW/cm²/nm (3.2 mW/cm²), Medium 40 µW/cm²/nm, and Low 26.5 µW/cm²/nm. At the high setting, irradiance exceeds the AAP threshold for intensive phototherapy. The pad can be combined with the ATOM BILI-THERAPY Spot Type for double-surface phototherapy.
Used in neonatal jaundice requiring phototherapy where preserving infant positioning, parental contact, and feeding is clinically important. Enables continuous dorsal-surface phototherapy at AAP-aligned irradiance, with the option of double-surface treatment when escalation is required.
