Effective delivery-room resuscitation requires consistent inspiratory and end-expiratory pressures from the first breath, yet bag-mask ventilation depends on operator squeeze force, mask seal, and fatigue – the principal sources of pressure variability and volutrauma during initial lung recruitment.
RESUSCI FLOW uses a T-piece architecture: clinician-preset PIP and PEEP are maintained at calibrated levels throughout resuscitation, with inspiratory time controlled by simple T-valve occlusion. An optional CPR timer chimes at 30-second NRP assessment intervals and provides a 6-second LED countdown for heart-rate calculation.
Used in delivery-room resuscitation of term and preterm neonates requiring positive-pressure ventilation. Enables pressure-controlled T-piece delivery with NRP-aligned timing cues, replacing the operator-dependent variability of bag-mask ventilation.
